(Seychelles News Agency) - Seychelles is gearing up for the second edition of the Seychelles Fashion Week in which collections will be presented from a record 25 designers from over 10 countries.

The Seychelles Fashion Week will take place from November 28 to December 1.

SNA presents eight more designers from Africa who will be showcasing their creations on the catwalk.

Country: Nigeria

Brand: Sitgon Afrique

The female-orientated fashion designs cater for ladies of all sizes. Sitgon Afrique is a brand “that every woman needs in her closet.”

Brand: Del Africa Fashion House

Dels Africa Fashion House provides exceptional aesthetic designed clothing for both the Nigerian and international market. In his designs, Usigbe combines unique blend of African fabrics to produce clothing and accessories of international standard for both local and export purposes.

Ossai provides clients with haute couture that perfectly fits them. Zelzah Couture provides designs for all events and occasions, sewing dresses, skirts, pants, shirts among others, in African print, lace and other materials.

The Afro fashion designer based in Blantyre, Malawi, provides designs all across the continents and has dressed famous women in her country. Her concept is to improve the fashion in Malawi, seeing this as an opportunity for young people from her country to come out with new and revolutionary ideas in the fashion industry.

Known for designing suits for both males and females, Resego participated with her designs in the Miss Botswana fashion show in August. “My collection was inspired by the new season which we are in, spring. Also, the fact that I was designing for the queens, I made the collections to have a classy and a sexy look with a bit of a funky twist,” she said.

Having participated in various shows such as the African Fashion Week, Blade will be bringing some fusion between traditional cultures and contemporary fashion to Seychelles.
